It’s been a while now since we last wrote to you, and that’s because we’ve been busy working on our 2011 plans and working with clients.

QUICK TIPS – Presentations

Always prepare thoroughly, use people you know to rehearse with before doing it for real.

Always ensure your Presentation has a Tile, Agenda and most importantly and Objective.

Be sure that attendees understand what’s in it for them
-
Consider your positioning when presenting, ensure everyone can see you, and you are not blocking any of your presentation aids.

If you are using PowerPoint, remember it’s an AID. You should run the presentation not the presentation run you.

Try to use a mix of delivery methods and avoid ‘Death by PowerPoint’.

Consider the different ways people take on board information – Auditory, Visual and kinesthetic. Ensure there is something for everyone.

Always have a plan B in case something goes wrong i.e. your projector bulb blows.
