July 2011 Newsletter

July Newsletter

WELCOME ALONG

Hello {name}, Welcome to our July Newsletter.

The past few weeks for us have been full on making all of the changes we told you about in our last newsletter and we can now confirm that our overall business is now named Revolution Human Resources Ltd.

We have made all of the necessary changes at Companies House as well as re-registering our Revolution Learning and Development name just to protect it.

This means we are now ready to go with all of the services our new business was designed to deliver.

We can now offer not only Training and Development solutions, but a whole host of Human Resources Services and Recruitment Services.

We hope you will take a look at the individual websites and consider us for future should you require any of these services.

Since our last newsletter we have also seen an increase in the enquiries and bookings onto our open workshops. This is great news as it shows our decision to expand into more areas was the correct one.

We are however going to look again at Open Workshops over the past few weeks. In this piece of work we will reduce the amount of the courses that we receive less queries for and increase the amount of time the more popular courses run.

We hope that we will run the more common courses every 6-8 weeks instead of the almost 3 month gap that we currently have.

Have you been on one of our Open Courses recently? We would love to get some more feedback from you that we can share wil others.

You can give this feedback on our Facebook Page. Simply Click Here to go to our page and post your comments.

Even if you haven’t got feedback, why not join our page anyway. We send out lots of useful articles and offers via that page.

I hope you have a great rest of the month.

Warm Regards

David – Managing Director

HIGHLIGHTED COURSE – Time Management Skills

Do you find yourself saying ‘There are not enough hours in the day’? Then this course is for you.

Our time management skills workshop takes a two fold approach to managing time.

Time Management isn’t just about using tools to get the most out of your time, a lot of it is down to your individual attitude.

In the course we look at the attitude side of things and begin to help you to tackle the way you think about the time you have available. We help you to feel more positive about the time you have available as well as give you some easy to use techniques to takle those who seem to steal your time.

Added to this, we look at some of the most effective time management techniques available to help you to manage the time you have available.

We deliver this course as an open event, and the next events are happening week commencing the 29th of August.

We can also run this as a one off event for your organisation. For more information on the course click here.

In this course we look at a whole range of tactics to get sales through understanding customer needs, needs and wants, product matching and effective questioning and listening skills.

We look at how to clearly identify what a customer is looking for, and once this is understood how to make a product or a service that you have to sell more appealing to them.

This course is designed and aimed at businesses of any size that is looking to increase sales to customers and of course maximise profit.

This course is offered on an Open basis and is running throughout July, or we can deliver it specifically for your organisation.

QUICK TIPS – Negotiation

1. Be Willing to Negotiate – Don’t be shy about Negotiating. We will all have to do it at some point, and if we don’t do it the other person will more than likely walk away with what they want – they win.

2. Don’t Get Emotionally Involved – Remember, you are not going there to win. This mindset is dangerous. Negotiation is about starting at what you would like, then compromise to to pre-determined walk away point.

3. Don’t Show Your Hand To Early – Where possible try and get the other person to talk figures first. If you show your hand too early, you are in real danger of the other person taking advantage of this.

If you have done your research then you should already know what the other parties expectations are

4. Always Start Higher Than What You Want – Don’t go straight in with what you think is reasonable, always start higher. Negotiation is about making concesions and you will have to start higher then work towards what you really want.

5. Be Very Wary of Your Body Language – Poker face all the way in Negotiations. Some seasoned negotiators will read your body language. If you for example smile at a suggestion, they know that they have you and will push to close.

Try and keep your body language as neutral as possible.
