Hello {name}, Welcome to our August Newsletter.
Summer finally seems to be here and it’s fantastic to see the sun shining again just as the kids break of for their summer holidays. We hope that you have lot’s of great things planned and that you have fun what ever you do.
If you haven’t got a lot planned, then why not take the opportunity to focus on your professional development by taking in an Open Training Course for example.
We mentioned last month about our re-naming and rebranding and all of the work for this is now complete. The individual websites are now live and all of our documentation is showing the new logos. This mail is obviously from our Learning and Development area hence the reason it still shows the existing logo.
The big news for this month follows on from something we mentioned last month. We have been working on our Open Training Courses schedule to try and reduce the amount of time between the courses you may have been looking at.
They were running at 12 week intervals and now we have that down to 8 weeks.
We have achieved this by moving out some of the HR themed courses and added these to our HR Consultancy website. They will now be delivered by that area. All of the Personal Development themed courses are still in their usual place right here

HIGHLIGHTED COURSE – Absence Management
Does your organisation have high levels of absence or are there one or two people in your team that seem to take random sporadic absence? Then this may be the course for you.
Although the course is titled Absence Management it is actually more about Managing Attendance.
The course looks at a range of pro-active approaches that you can take to reduce absence in the workplace.
We do this by understanding what some of the key causes for absence may be in your business and also the influence that you as a leader or manager may be having on absence.
Added to this we also look at managing the absence after it has happened. We do this by looking at effective return to work interviews and ensuring you get from those interviews what you need to.
This course is run on an open basis and is running throughout August. We can also deliver it as an off the shelf programme to your business.
