The session looks at the difference between Leaders and Managers, and establishes how the skills and behaviours two approaches dovetail together to create and ‘all round’ effective person who runs a team of people, what ever the situation. So, whether the attendee is a manager of a team in the business, running a temporary team i.e. a project team, or looking to progress into a position where looking after a team of people is part of the role, then this course is for them.  Part of the session is based around a well known business model called ‘Situational Leadership’. As it’s only an introduction to leadership – a basic version of the model is used. This is enough to provide the understanding required.  The aim of the session is: To introduce you to the basic of leadership and how the skills and behaviour can be practically used in the business  And the objectives: By the end of the session you will:
